Evening Tarpon Evening Tarpon and Shark Trips - If you are not an early morning person this is the tarpon trip for you. With an 85% catch rate you have an excellent chance at the Silver King. We often catch several varieties of sharks. Captain Freddie

 

Captain Freddie was born and raised on Martha’s Vineyard Island, located off the coast of Massachusetts.

Being born on a small island in the Atlantic Ocean, Fred began Shell fishing and Hook and Line fishing as soon as he could walk.  Fred had a passion for fishing and catching Stripers, Blue Fish, Fluke, Bonito and Albacore Tuna along the shores and beaches of the Vineyard.

As he came into his teen years he began to fancy Offshore Fishing and catching White Marlin, Yellow fin Tuna, Swordfish, Maco and Thresher Sharks.

Fred commercially and recreationaly fished throughout his teen years.  At the encouragement of his Dad to get a “Reel Job”, Fred pursued a career working with handicapped youth.  This also enabled him to continue fishing.   Read more...

Food and beverages of your choice.

Rain gear is provided, but to assure a comfortable fit please feel free to bring your personal rain gear.

If you are planning or would like to use your own rods please let me know in advance. This will assure that your equipment is a proper match for the fishing we will be doing.

Sun screen is a must! Please use at least 35. I have some on board but please bring your personal favorite.

Bug spray is not always necessary, however, during the summer months you should bring your personal favorite.

I have a cooler on board and ice is also provided.

Most of all bring a good attitude this is an adventure!  We will catch fish however some of the elements are out of even my control.
